Hi everyone! My name is Abbra Slocombe I am the Swim School Team leader for Hedland Swim School. We have been working on our Swim Centre Certification, to better serve our community’s needs.
We have several instructors who have completed their Autism Swim training.

We’re committed to promoting water safety skills and providing water safety education to the community.
All our swimming programs:
- combine water safety education and skill development with personal development
- provide opportunities for students to build a healthy body, mind and spirit
- place an emphasis on simulating open-water environments
- are available to everyone from the age of six months
- are designed to reduce the incidence of drowning and aquatic accidents
- encourages students to progress at their own pace are offered in small group classes
