I teach Infant Aquatics and 1:1 complex needs classes at the Aqualife Swim School in East Victoria Park, WA and I am the Program Coordinator and a 1:1 disability lesson provider at Telethon Superfins Learn to Swim in Subiaco, WA.
I’m not a mobile provider and I offer my service as per the below:
Aqualife Swim School – heated indoor pools at the Town of Victoria Park Aqualife Centre, low sensory hydro programs pool space and an open area 25m pool. Both have ramp, edge and ladder pool access.
Telethon Superfins Learn to Swim – 2 lanes within the lords Recreation Centre members only pool. Heated indoor pool consistent depth of 1.1m and temp of 30C. Ladder, edge and hoist pool entries available.

“Our son O who has an ASD diagnosis has been participating in the Superfins program for a number of years now. The water is a special place for him and helps him relax and calm himself after a long day at school, and O attends the program once a week. It is not always easy to get O to participate in a range of activities, but he very much enjoys the Superfins environment and staff who work with him. As a parent and an educator I enjoy sitting back and watching the care, attention and thought that O’s instructors provide while working with him. There is direct instruction which is invaluable for O, and there are no shortcuts made for him. They persist with him to ensure that he grows with good technique and meets a good standard with his swimming. As well as the swimming component of the lesson, there is a special relationship that is developed between O and all the people who work with him. He is comfortable to chat, share reflections of his time and activities with the staff, and they draw the best out of him in a relaxed and caring way. Most recently, he has really enjoyed and valued his lessons with Jess, and the supervisor Helen who manage him carefully and thoughtfully, but in a relaxed and comfortable way. Aside from O, I watch the work done by the staff when conducting lessons with other young people more heavily affected by a range of conditions and their work is just as attentive, thoughtful and effective.
