Hi, I’m Sharon and I teach swimming and water safety at Jump! Geraldton.
At Jump!, I teach babies from six months of age through to students in our pre squad stroke development level. I also teach private 1:1 lessons for any age and ability.
As well as loving being an Autism Swim Provider for the last four years, I am an Advanced Aquaphobia Coach and run classes for students of any age, with any level of aquaphobia. I have adult group classes available and am a Puggles Pro Skipper, helping our Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, or anyone with different communication needs, access lessons. Recently qualified as a Float to Survive Instructor, I hope I can provide something for every need.
I began swimming teaching in New Zealand when I was 18, qualified as a KiwiSwim/Swim Safe instructor at 23 and went on to be a SwimSafe Tutor as well. I hold the NZ Certificate in Swimming Teaching and also have a background in swimming coaching, NZ Coaching Athletes With Disabilities qualification and specialised in teaching adults.
