An interactive social story teaching your child how to stay safe in and around water.
We work with people of all ages and all abilities, to ensure they have opportunities and the right support to meet water safety and swimming goals.
On top of being able to offer specialised aquatic services across 25 countries, we also run specialised programs and events including modified nippers and surf education.
We are also incredibly proud to offer a FREE world-first water safety App for those with other abilities. Learn more about this amazing educational resource below.

About the app:

Autism Swim’s ‘Staying safe around the Water’ App is an interactive social story, teaching the users key safety skills and practices to adopt in and around the water.

It has been designed by a range of Clinicians, parents, and individuals with other abilities; aiming to provide guidance to a wide range of users, regardless of their age and abilities.

App users can learn vital water safety principles regardless of where they are in the world.

It is the only interactive water safety App for those with autism and other abilities, worldwide.

The App has three environments: the pool, the beach and inland waterways.
In each environment, the user is taught key water safety messages and skills. Examples of some of the key skills include ‘waiting until being told to go in the water’, ‘treading water’ and ‘staying calm’.
We are currently seeking financial support and sponsorship to continue offering vital (and free) water safety education.
If you are able to contribute financially to assist on us on our mission of inclusive aqautics for everyone, please click on the button below.

This world-first water-safety App is a non-negotiable addition to your your device.
