Hi, my name is Annette and I have over 20 years of teaching experience both in and out of education settings, as well as experience with sensory disabilities in children and adults.
I teach swimming and water safety, including with the School Swim Team locally, and I am a very active Trainer / Assessor for the Royal Lifesaving Society, training lifeguards to keep people safe.
Being neurodivergent myself helps me to be supportive, engaging and empathetic to clients and their families.
I offer 1-on-1 sessions for people of all ages in the Sheffield and surrounding areas, and can arrange with you the best setting and way forward for your needs.
I work with clients – including adults with learning needs – at lower cost as we integrate into local pool swim sessions or quiet / disability friendly specific sessions. However we can look into hiring pool space if this is more desirable, and I can work with clients to get what they need in terms of environment and access. I also have links with Open Water venues locally, which may be something to explore.
